Cancer: The big $$$ industry

The Commonwealth and Victorian Governments will contribute $850 million to build a new Cancer Centre in Parkville. (2009). With that amount of money spent, I doubt that alternative treatment will even be tried. Expensive treatment that will reward Big Pharma will be on the menu! Yes medicine is much too close to big business to be efficient.

Why doctors do not try alternative medicine for cancer treatment?

Polls and questionnaires show that three doctors out of four (75 per cent) would refuse any chemotherapy because of its ineffectiveness against the disease and its devastating effects on the entire human organism.

This is what many doctors and scientists have to say about chemotherapy:
"The majority of the cancer patients in this country die because of chemotherapy, which does not cure breast, colon or lung cancer. This has been documented for over a decade and nevertheless doctors still utilize chemotherapy to fight these tumors." (Allen Levin, MD, UCSF, "The Healing of Cancer", Marcus Books, 1990).

Chemotherapy and radiotherapy work again the  body and would be considered barbaric in the future. There are a lot of alternative treatments for cancer. However, they cannot be tested properly because of the diktats of orthodox medicine ruled by international pharmaceutical companies.

It's a bit rich, even coming from her....

Christine Lagarde:

              Salary:        380 939 euros

              Income Tax:       0 euro

It does not stop her from blaming the Greeks for not

paying their taxes.

What she should have said is: rich people in Greece

do not pay their fair share of tax, a bit like me.

I now know why she always smiles and wears a holidays tan year around.

For 5 years Sarkozy took from "the poor" to give to "the very rich".

It's over.

The Class Struggle (don't mention it!)

The left-leaning political parties in the world (Labour in England and Australia, Democrats in the USA, Socialists in France etc.) would not dare any longer to mention the phrase "The class struggle". Meanwhile their counterparts from the Right like Republicans in the US or Liberals in Australia are very busy applying it (big tax exemption for wealthy people, salary insufficient to make a living for the poor, Child care allowance for people earning huge amount of money, etc.).

Why? It is obviously the result of 30 years of media propaganda controlled by the latter class. They managed to shame people when they fight for their rights and decency in their job and life. We have to thanks the likes of Murdoch and other media barons.

When are people going to fight for their elementary rights and say "NO" to this inhuman system called "Global Capitalism"? When are we going to feel solidarity with the people who cannot get a decent salary? In Australia, how do we allow 70% of our media to be owned by one man? A man who became American to own even more newspapers and media in the world. A man who has shown to the world that he was prepared to do anything to increase his powers. Today that person dictates his morale and ethics to us....

Livres - Books

If you have the time and money for only one book, read this one: "The Power of Now" written by Eckart Tollé. And if you happen to like it, you can also read "New Earth" which is a type of follow-up. Both are excellent, but are better read in this order. Read them and tell me what you think!

BCC (Basal Cell Carcinoma)

Seven years ago I had my first BCC (Basal Cell Carcinoma) on the left side of my cranium examined by a doctor and recognized as such by a biopsy. I, then, went to see a skin specialist who ordered me to have it cut out. Not wanting to be butchered for $3000 to $4000 by one of those millionaire surgeons who comes from the big city by plane in the morning and leaves in the evening, I started to look at the alternative on the net and discovered Curaderm.

As some people know, it had been discovered by an Australian (Doctor  Cham) who had to leave the country thanks to the pressure exercised by the Union of skin specialists in this country (Australia).

By the time I used Curaderm my BCC was one inch in diameter and oozing all the time. Every morning my pillow was stained with a bit of blood. I started a Curaderm treatment which lasted about 2 months and eventually was successful at getting rid of it. Meanwhile I got a second BCC on the left side of the nose and applied Curaderm for the same amount of time. The lesion improved a lot but did not heal 100%. I then tried C-Herb which is much more potent and can be really stinging. It did not improve it at all and the lesion was still oozing. I did not know what to try any more and let it the way it was for few months. Unrelated to that, I started a one hour meditation per day; after just a few days I noticed that the lesion was much drier and started behaving like a normal wound. You can imagine that I did not stop my one hour session. It is now healed. I do not think it is any miracle. Meditation, just boost your immune system and, obviously in my case, that was enough to cure this lesion.
I am not saying that if you have a BCC you should start meditating and it will go away. But, while you are applying alternative medicine, meditating will, in my book, certainly help substantially.

I have seen some men, who have been mutilated when they could have been cured by Curaderm or other cheaper alternative medicine based on plants like Burdock root. By the way, my psoriasis is also gone; it never has been serious but my head was constantly itchy.

P.S. Whatever you do, never ever use Aldara (See here). As a matter of fact, whatever you use (especially if given by your doctor) check it on the internet or other sources of information for side-effects.

Richmond (Victoria)

The Once Lucky Country

If you are over 55,
if you have no reference,
if you have no connection,
if you possess an accent,
try to find a job and let me know.
Although I live in the “Lucky Country”! Yes Australia
where everybody wants to migrate,
my quest is futile and frustrating.
This country calls itself classless and
“ fair go” is supposed to be its motto!
Read the newspapers and see how quickly jobs are disappearing
like ice exposed to the global warming of border-less ultra-capitalism.
Soon your age, your connection and accent will not even matter.
The same people who glorify nationalism
let the jobs go to cheap labour countries
then demonize the poor unemployed left behind
by calling them dole bludgers.
They also make sure that pension age
Is a movable line set further and further.
It will be 67 anon.
Try to get a job at 65 when you can’t get one at 55.
Keep yours if you still have the chance of having one!
You do not know how long you will have it!

French Armenian Genocide Bill

Wordle: French Bill on Armenian Genocide

As you know the parliament of France has voted a new bill which criminalizes denial of the Armenian genocide. One wonders why such a law is voted and the timing of it. As you know, France is going to vote for a presidential election in May and that will surely explain the timing of it. An article in “Le Monde” explains how the law was brought up by Valérie Boyer , from the Marseilles region, representing Sarkozy party (UMP) where a substantial population of French from Armenian origin live. The article shows a map indicating a clear link between French-Armenian population and the vote of French deputies .  As Robert Badinter (former senator and minister of justice) wrote:  Parliament does not have the competence to dictate history only a judicial authority has the right to declare if a crime has been committed.  I would add: only an international one.
What are the right of French deputies to impose a prison term or fine because you dare to express an opinion in public? What happened to France, the cradle of free speech? Voltaire!  where are you?
"I may disagree with what you have to say, but I shall defend to the death your right to say it."
By the way France, as well as a lot of western countries like England, USA, Germany, Spain, etc. can hardly tell other countries like Turkey that one hundred years ago they committed a genocide and that the denial of it is illegal, when only fifty years ago French soldiers were torturing Algerians fighting for their freedom and independence (Colonel Trinquier, Capitaine Leger, Colonel Bigeard and General Massu, etc.).

So, small bickering French politicians from left or right ideology carry on with your silly fights and let people think whatever they like to think of, or believe in; but better still, start reading “Candide” again, you might learn something taught by a real advocate of civil liberties.

The same idea is applicable to the Jewish holocaust.

Nouvel An Chinois à Melbourne

French election

If you are like me and have friends and family in France, you might have received some Emails telling you how much money Sarkozy, Hollande, Royal etc. are making in a year. Do not worry! It means only one thing. The presidential election is back.

Actually, if you follow the French politics in "Le Monde" or "Libération", you may have the impression it has always been on for the last five years. And this year they are fighting for our votes! Yes, the vote of French living overseas (Your Vote). In December 2010 they were 1 504 001 French people registered at French consulates (Wikipedia). So you can deduct from that the number of French living outside of France is definitely much bigger.

Having left France in the early 1980s, it is hard for me to appreciate what is really going on in France. I can, however, make an analogy with Australian politics. For example, I find Sarkozy and John Howard fairly similar in their vision and achievement: They take from the poor to give to the rich. The Left in France is also pretty identical to the Labour party here: Full of good intentions in opposition and trying to outdo their friends from the Right when in government.

Anyway, whatever your political leanings good luck for the 22nd of April and 6th of May.
