Livres - Books

If you have the time and money for only one book, read this one: "The Power of Now" written by Eckart Tollé. And if you happen to like it, you can also read "New Earth" which is a type of follow-up. Both are excellent, but are better read in this order. Read them and tell me what you think!

BCC (Basal Cell Carcinoma)

Seven years ago I had my first BCC (Basal Cell Carcinoma) on the left side of my cranium examined by a doctor and recognized as such by a biopsy. I, then, went to see a skin specialist who ordered me to have it cut out. Not wanting to be butchered for $3000 to $4000 by one of those millionaire surgeons who comes from the big city by plane in the morning and leaves in the evening, I started to look at the alternative on the net and discovered Curaderm.

As some people know, it had been discovered by an Australian (Doctor  Cham) who had to leave the country thanks to the pressure exercised by the Union of skin specialists in this country (Australia).

By the time I used Curaderm my BCC was one inch in diameter and oozing all the time. Every morning my pillow was stained with a bit of blood. I started a Curaderm treatment which lasted about 2 months and eventually was successful at getting rid of it. Meanwhile I got a second BCC on the left side of the nose and applied Curaderm for the same amount of time. The lesion improved a lot but did not heal 100%. I then tried C-Herb which is much more potent and can be really stinging. It did not improve it at all and the lesion was still oozing. I did not know what to try any more and let it the way it was for few months. Unrelated to that, I started a one hour meditation per day; after just a few days I noticed that the lesion was much drier and started behaving like a normal wound. You can imagine that I did not stop my one hour session. It is now healed. I do not think it is any miracle. Meditation, just boost your immune system and, obviously in my case, that was enough to cure this lesion.
I am not saying that if you have a BCC you should start meditating and it will go away. But, while you are applying alternative medicine, meditating will, in my book, certainly help substantially.

I have seen some men, who have been mutilated when they could have been cured by Curaderm or other cheaper alternative medicine based on plants like Burdock root. By the way, my psoriasis is also gone; it never has been serious but my head was constantly itchy.

P.S. Whatever you do, never ever use Aldara (See here). As a matter of fact, whatever you use (especially if given by your doctor) check it on the internet or other sources of information for side-effects.

Richmond (Victoria)

The Once Lucky Country

If you are over 55,
if you have no reference,
if you have no connection,
if you possess an accent,
try to find a job and let me know.
Although I live in the “Lucky Country”! Yes Australia
where everybody wants to migrate,
my quest is futile and frustrating.
This country calls itself classless and
“ fair go” is supposed to be its motto!
Read the newspapers and see how quickly jobs are disappearing
like ice exposed to the global warming of border-less ultra-capitalism.
Soon your age, your connection and accent will not even matter.
The same people who glorify nationalism
let the jobs go to cheap labour countries
then demonize the poor unemployed left behind
by calling them dole bludgers.
They also make sure that pension age
Is a movable line set further and further.
It will be 67 anon.
Try to get a job at 65 when you can’t get one at 55.
Keep yours if you still have the chance of having one!
You do not know how long you will have it!
